Position Title：Research engineer (Java)
Location Beijing
The following is the Job Description:
Mandatory:
At least three years in Java development.
Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
Optional (considered as a plus)
Experience in Eclipse pluggin development.
Experience in Multicultural company.
Experience in Sim and Usim Application development.
Experience in GSM and 3G networks.

Main Missions
Feasibility studies of new techno concepts to answer marketting needs
Design and development of prototypes for the Telecom UpTeq R&D business lines (mobile TV, contactless, convergence, multimedia).
Knowledge transfers to R&D product team or GGS if required for productization of prototypes
Working with GGS/partners/customer for demo projects
Propose innovations
Follow-up of new technologies
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent in English communication oral and written
Autonomous in executing tasks with less supervision
Fast learning and passionate to new technologies
Min. 2 years experience on SIM application development (javacard applet and optionally OS parts)
Knowledge of:
- SIM / Telco standards (ETSI, 3GPP…)
- Mobile / SIM / Server / Network ecosystem
- Internet world (HTTP, HTML, TCP/IP, ..)
Ability to explain technical concepts (internally, customer, exhibitions)
Experience on other development area (PC, server, handset) is a plus

- Internet world (HTTP, HTML, TCP/IP, ..)
Ability to explain technical concepts (internally, customer, exhibitions)
Little experience on other development area (ie. card, handset) is preferable
